JARC acknowledges that the societal issues that weigh heavily on our clients' lives will persist if we do not engage in policy advocacy and program research that lead to long-term social change.

JARC's staff and board members are involved in the activities of several advocacy organizations, including:

Chicago Jobs Council and the State Agenda for Community Economic Development (SACED)
National Network Of Sector Partners
ONE (Organization of the North East)

JARC also works closely with groups that advocate for improved manufacturing skills education and increased access to education. These groups include:

Chicago Manufacturing Renaissance Council – JARC is on the Council's Education Committee as well as its Skill Standards Commitee
Austin Polytechnical Academy – JARC is a sponsor and member of the Design Team for this brand new Academy at Chicago's Austin High School.
