Dan Faichney
Program Director, Supportive Services
Entering his fifth year at JARC, Dan is responsible for JARC’s Supportive Services cluster. This cluster, which is comprised of JARC’s Financial Education, Employment Services, Income Supports, and the Community Technology Center offers participants a synergistic bundle of services which supports personal and family financial stability, career development, and computer use for work and life. Prior to becoming JARC’s Supportive Services Director, Dan served as JARC’s CTC Coordinator, during which time he worked with staff, partners, and volunteer instructors to expand the scope and impact of JARC's computer training services. He has also served as a LISC AmeriCorps member, and as an AmeriCorps*State Team Leader. As a Team Leader, he organized trainings and coordinated service activities for a statewide group of AmeriCorps members. Prior to holding these positions, he was an editorial writer and self-employed technology consultant. Dan holds Microsoft Office Specialist Certifications in Word and Excel 2003. He holds a B.A. in History with Honors and High Distinction from the University of Michigan, and a Master of Nonprofit Administration with Distinction from North Park University. He is a proficient speaker of English and Spanish.
