Congrats to our Trainees of the Month Ericka, Jason, and Sheila for demonstrating this month’s theme: GRIT. Not only do they meet challenges head-on, they actively seek to better themselves and their fellow trainees. October’s #TOM ceremony and refreshments were made possible thanks to a donation from Katherine Duerdoth. If you would like to contribute to these monthly recognitions of outstanding trainees, give today and indicate “Trainee of the Month” on the designation line. https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/jane-addams

Exciting news! Yesterday, JARC #welding graduate Tonce (center) was honored as the Individual Achievement Award winner for Cook County by the Illinois Workforce Partnership and Chicago Cook Workforce Partnership. This award seeks to recognize the accomplishments of a jobseeker who sought assistance to achieve new career goals, progressed through services in a timely and focused manner, and attained a credential or job in their field of training – all of which Tonce accomplished while she was with us at JARC.
