CNC Operators Fast Track

Learn how to program, set up and operate Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools.
This free CNC training program is for unemployed adults and low-income job seekers. This track involves writing program codes and instructions used to run a machine controlled by a computer. These machines cut metal for making parts for everything from cars to airplanes.
Graduates OF this program:
- Can earn industry credentials through the National Institute for Metalworking Skills (NIMS), such as: CNC Milling Level 1 and NIMS CNC Turning Level 1
- Can complete the OSHA 10 HR (General Industry) safety course
- Receive job placement services
DURATION
20 weeks | 500 hours
SCHEDULE
Daytime training: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–2:30pm
Evening training: 3:00pm - 8:00pm
ELIGIBILITY
Free training for unemployed adults and low-income job seekers
Classes run on an open enrollment schedule.
Anyone enrolled in our programs has FREE access to math, reading, and computer tutors, as well as financial coaching and public benefits screening.
