Reflecting on Personal & Professional Achievements

When Faith started working as a Machine Operator at Kay Manufacturing, she knew she was ready.

Her training in JARC’s CNC Program was run just like a machine floor. “In training, like in the real world, you learn from your mistakes,” she says. Although she was a little nervous, she was excited to embark on a new career path.

First, she trained with a small team on operating techniques and procedures. Then she was on her own. “The best lesson I learned from JARC was: ‘Pay Attention. Know what’s going on around you at all times.’” she recalls. “Once training was over, I was on a roll!”

Her hard work and dedication have certainly paid off. In her two years working with Kay, she’s advanced from Machine Operator to Quality Assurance Technician. Training at JARC helped her make this leap, particularly in working with gages. She plans to continue her work in Quality Assurance.
